NUM Study Network: Principle Investigators

The Principal Investigators (PIs) of the NUM Study Network are leading experts from across German university hospitals who are responsible for the scientific and strategic direction of the network. They oversee the development and implementation of core research activities, ensure scientific excellence, and foster collaboration across sites and disciplines. Together, they play a key role in shaping the network’s contribution to patient-centered, high-quality clinical research in Germany.

NUM Study Network: Forum

The Forum is an advisory platform that brings together diverse stakeholders to support the development of the NUM Study Network. Its members include representatives from study sites, research organizations, professional societies, government bodies, funding agencies, and other relevant infrastructures. The Forum’s role is to provide guidance by offering strategic and operational feedback, monitoring project progress, and facilitating coordination and communication across stakeholders. While it does not have formal decision-making authority, its discussions are documented and may inform decisions made by the Steering Committee.
